HARK Awarded Human Services Grant
🎉 Exciting news! HARK has been awarded a $25,000 Human Services grant provided by The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC) to support our project “Helping to Achieve Normalcy and Independence for Vulnerable Children in Buncombe County.”
These funds will continue our proven programs that provide direct support for at-risk children, including those in foster care and McKinney-Vento students experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Through our Children’s Assistance Program (CAF) and in collaboration with social workers, we ensure that every dollar fills gaps in resources and reaches the children who need it most, especially those still facing challenges from Hurricane Helene.
Thank you CFWNC! Together, we’re helping local children find stability, hope, and independence. 💙
